Kill your Phone – Funksignal-blockierende Handytaschen selber nähen!
Wann? Offen und gemeinsames Kochen ab 17:00
Beginn mit Workshop: ca. 19:00

Was & Warum?
Ein offener Workshop um Handys passiv zu blockieren, so dass sie nicht mehr senden oder empfangen können (Funknetzwerk, Bluetooth). Dazu nähen wir aus einem Stoff, den wir bestellt haben, Handytaschen. Wir haben Nähmaschinen und Garn, sodass alle mitmachen können, die wollen 🙂
Normalerweise vertraust du deiner Software, wenn du den „Flugzeugmodus“ aktivierst. Mit dieser Handyhülle kannst du sicher sein, dass kein Funksignal mehr dein Phone erreicht, oder es senden kann. Mehr Infos und Fragen dazu: https://killyourphone.com/de/
Materialkosten für Stoff(pro Tasche): 2-3€
Dieser Betrag wäre toll, wenn du zahlen kannst. Sonst ist der Workshop kostenlos!
Was du mitbringen könntest:
-LKW-Plane (wenn du deine Tasche fancy/robust machen willst)
-Duschvorhangstoff (wenn du deine Tasche wasserfest machen willst)
-Sonstiges Nähzeux, Stoffe die dir gefallen

Kill your Phone – Do it Together „Signal blocking phone pouch“
When? Open and cooking togeher: 5pm
Beginning of the Worshop: 7pm
Where? Wipplingerstraße 23, 1010 Vienna (sadly not barrier-free)
What & Why?
Open workshop to passively block your phone from sending and receiving (signal, Bluetooth). For this we create pouches together, out of a material that we specially ordered. We have sewing machines, material and tools, so everybody can come and join us 🙂
Normally we trust our software, when we activate „Airplane-Mode“. With this pouch you can be sure, that your phone cannot receive or send signals at all.

Material costs for 1 pouch: 2-3€
This would be nice, if you can pay it. Besides that, the workshop is free!
What you can bring:
– Truck-tarp: if you want to make your pouch more robust
– Shower-curtain: if you want to make your pouch water-resistant
– other sewing stuff or fabric you like
